Remote autonomous module of discrete input/output and measurement of phase current MVV-8-4-I.
MVV-8-4-I is an autonomous unit that provides connection to the 8th
discrete sensors of the «dry contact» type, issuing two two-position discrete
control commands (4 power switches), measurement of alternating current by one phase (0…1 or 0…5 A).
Data exchange with external devices is supported by three communication channels with the RS-485 interface. Exchange protocol – Modbus (RTU),IEC870-5-103.
One channel (with galvanic isolation) provides data exchange with the central one
a control controller, which is an ICSU cabinet or a similar device
another manufacturer.
The second channel serves to receive data from a digital measuring converter
parameters of analog signals of the MTE type
The third channel provides information about electrical values.
parameters on a remote panel device of the ShhPO-1 or ShhPO-3 type (included in the SOICP, described below).

Also, this channel can be used to connect a graphic panel of the type
when it is necessary to take local data and issue commands for
controlling high-voltage switching equipment.
In general, MVV-8-4-I performs the functions of a connection controller.
Power supply from an external voltage source of direct current 24 V, consumed
power up to 5 W.
Supplied in a plastic case with overall dimensions of 135x90x60 mm and weight
Weight: 0.5 kg. It is mounted on a DIN rail. Degree of mechanical protection IR20.
The operating temperature range is minus 20 to 50°C.

Distinctive features of the MVV M-8-4-I version from the previous version of the MVV 8-4-I.

1. An extended range of input voltages from 18 to 36V.

2. The possibility of connecting an external indicator to display the
value of the current measured by the MVV M-8-4-I. The indicator is
connected to the connector of port No. 1, from which it receives +5V
power. To do this, the connector of port No. 1 is replaced by a 4-pin
one.

3. Port connector No. 2 has an additional contact for connecting an internal matching resistor with a nominal value of 120 Ohms.

4. Dry contacts of the TU module (outputs DC1, DC2) are implemented on 3-pin connectors as reversible pairs of contacts.
