Scientific and technical center «Energozvyazok» carries out works on the design of complexes of collection, processing and transmission of information for various purposes of services of dispatching and technological management (SDTU) and information technologies (IT).

To areas developed during design technical solutions should include the following:

— HF systems with PL;
— systems of fiber-optic communication lines along power lines and in sewers;
— systems of radio relay communication lines and «last mile» communication radio lines;
— Systems of linear operational communication;
— Operational radio communication systems of REM dispatchers with OVB;
— automatic switching systems for operational dispatching and technological communication of energy enterprises;
— Systems of corporate computer networks of the information technology service;
— Complexes of ASDU and OVC;
— Security video surveillance systems;
— grounding and lightning protection systems of energy facilities and subdivisions;
— Autonomous fire extinguishing systems.

The reliability of the equipment complex, as well as the cost of operation, primarily depends on the quality of the completed project work. In this regard, highly qualified employees, many of whom have academic degrees, work among the scientific and technical staff of STC Energozvyazok. Design engineers have personal seals, their qualifications are confirmed by name certificates of the Ministry of Regional Construction of Ukraine.

The criteria for the quality and completeness of the project work performed for the STC «Energovyazok» have always been:

— scientific approach;
— fundamentality of decisions;
— Complexity and optimization.

These provisions are inextricably linked to each other.

The fundamentality of the project solutions being developed is due to a broad scientific and technical perspective, the application in practice of the current regulatory framework of Ukraine, the system of EU standards and recommendations of the ICRC, as well as competence in the operation and functioning of the existing equipment of the Customer (including outdated, but applied in practice).

The complexity and optimization of solutions is determined by the breadth of technical horizons of specialists and the variety of tasks that are solved at the enterprise. From the construction of analog communication systems of power transmission lines for power engineers (HF on HV) to digital systems of radio relay communication and VOLZ.

In the process of working design, a number of technical solutions are used, which increase the reliability of the designed equipment. These technical solutions are the «know-how» of the enterprise.

Design of radio relay lines

The work on the design of radio relay lines of corporate networks of SDTU is performed in accordance with DBN A.2.2-3-2012 and can be divided into the following main stages:

Development of technical and economic justification.

During the development of the feasibility study, a comprehensive survey is carried out with a visit to all the Customer’s facilities, calculations are carried out to optimize the communication network.

Working design and release of design and estimate documentation.

You can familiarize yourself with examples of the implementation of work projects in the office of STC «Energosvyazok». In the course of the work, pre-design studies are carried out, all necessary calculations are carried out to determine the energy of the RRL interval, the expected amount of signal attenuation (including on semi-open routes) and the construction of profiles of the RRL intervals.When constructing profiles, geodetic and topographic works are performed. A survey of the area is being carried out for the construction of the General Plans of the object. The absolute heights of the studied terrain and coordinates are checked. In special cases, the geotopography data are checked against the database of the State Institute of Geodesy and Cartography of Ukraine, for which the specialists of the Energozvyazok STC were specially accredited to work with secret materials.

The project group calculates and justifies the necessity of using equipment redundancy with antenna diversity in space and the expediency of using trunk frequency diversity.

Detailed specifications for equipment and materials are drawn up.The basis of the development of technical solutions and calculations are regulatory documents on the design and construction of RRL, departmental building regulations, industry standards, KND in connection; PUE, PBEE, PTB of fire safety rules (PPB) and other special standards. Design and estimate documentation is developed in CAD systems using AVK-3 and AS-4 PIR software complexes.

In the design process, technical decisions are agreed with the Customer and with interested controlling organizations (for example, construction permit, preparation of documents and obtaining a sanitary passport for objects, preparation of documents and obtaining frequencies in the UDCR, agreement with «Ukrairorukh», the Ministry of Defense, etc. ).
