For the construction and reconstruction of the dispatching-technological communication system of the second-level management facilities of power companies (districts of power grids), it is proposed to use scalable digital PBXs of the new generation with packet switching of messages with a capacity of 24 to 256 subscriber ports. The maximum configuration of the digital switch:

96 2nd ave. subscriber lines of the FXS type;
24 2nd ave. universal connecting lines of SO, CPU and MB type FXO;
136 digital subscribers;
4 streams PRI DSS1;
1 100/1000BASE-T port.

It is recommended to use a system telephone with an LCD display and additional consoles with a maximum capacity of 76 direct dialing keys as a control panel, as well as the presence of keys for organizing transit telephone connections during the work of the dispatcher or operator.

Up to 16 4-wire ADASE lines can be connected to the switch using the matching unit.

The switch provides «hot» backup of the power supply, processor, switching field and board of connecting lines.

The switch has economical energy consumption. The equipment can be placed in a standard 19″ cabinet.
