Input-output module MVV-4-2:

The module is designed for taking states from four discrete sensors of the «dry contact» type, issuing two discrete pulse power signals

(~ 220V, up to 7A) and data exchange via a serial communication channel (physical RS-485 interface) in the Modbus(RTU) protocol.

The main application is a local controller for building distributed complexes of telemechanics at power facilities.

Characteristics of input discrete channels of TS:

— number of channels — 4;

— the number of vehicles that can be configured as double — 4;

— polling voltage — 20…36 V, current through a pair of closed contacts — 1.2…3.6 mA;

— group galvanic isolation from microcontroller circuits at a breakdown voltage of up to 1.5 kV;

— common «return» wire;

— polling frequency of discrete inputs — 1 ms;

— the ability to set contact «rattling» time values for all channels in the range from 20 to 100 ms, discreteness of 1 ms;

— the possibility of setting the values of the switching time of double TCs in the range from 100 to 10000 ms, discreteness of 100 ms;

— electronic protection against accidental ingress of high voltage (~220 V) in the circuits of input signals, with the issuance of information about the accident to the upper control level;

— LED indication of closed positions of discrete inputs.

— the memory buffer of the controller, where up to the last 4 slices of events with changed states are stored in chronological order.

Characteristics of the output discrete channels of remote control (RC):

— the number of output channels of the two-position TC command — 1;

— the number of outputs is 2, each of the outputs has 1 relay with one switching group of contacts;

— type of switching — impulse;

— switching voltage 220 V alternating current with a load value of up to 7 A.

— galvanic separation of each of the TC channels from the microcontroller’s power circuits. Breakdown voltage up to 1.5 kV;

— the possibility of setting the duration of the pulse signal at the output in the range from 0.1 to 4 s, discreteness of 0.1 s;

— LED indication of the closed position of power output relays.

Characteristics of the communication channel:

MVV provides data exchange with external devices via a communication channel with a physical RS-485 interface in the standard speed range from 2.4 to 57.6 Kbaud using the Modbus (RTU) protocol, «slave» mode.

The transceiver of the communication channel is galvanically isolated from the circuits of the microcontroller. Breakdown voltage up to 1.5 kV.

Operating characteristics:

    The MVV is powered by a direct current source with a voltage of 20 to 36 V. The maximum power consumption is no more than 2 W.

The body is made of non-flammable plastic. The overall dimensions of the case are 104x65x120 ± 1mm. The design allows installation on a DIN rail

The degree of mechanical protection is IP20. Intended for installation indoors without the category of increased danger.

The range of working temperatures is from minus 20 to 50 ºС.
