MURFI. Module for matching physical levels of discrete input/output signal interfaces.

1. Purpose

1.1 The MUFRI module is used in conjunction with the EKP-4/E controller and is designed to match the physical signal levels of the EKP-4/E digital ports with the levels of real signals of discrete inputs/outputs at power facilities.

2. Technical characteristics
2.1 Discrete input channels (DI) from dry contact type sensors:
— 4 input channels with one common return wire and group galvanic
isolation from EKP-4/E circuits;

— internal polling voltage 24 V DC;
— current in the circuits of each of the input channels within 2.5… 4 mA;
— polling time of each of the channels 1 ms
— 4 output transmission channels with TTL-level signals.

2.2 Discrete output channels (TC) with load on the coils of intermediate relays:
— 4 channels with relay outputs (one group of changeover contacts in each channel);
— switching voltage 220 V AC up to 7 A, or 28 V DC up to 7 A;
— 4 input channels with reception of TTL-level signals.

2.3 General indicators
— to fix the working state of the module’s electronic components and the presence of external power supply voltage (24 V), service LEDs are installed: 4 each — for input/output channels and
one for monitoring the external voltage of 24 V;
— to connect external circuits, terminal disconnectors with «screw» wire connections are used, except for the «Grounding» contact, which is connected to the grounding circuit via a knife terminal. The cross-sectional area of ​​the wires supplied externally is no more than 1.5 mm², except for the «grounding» wire, which must have a section of 2.5 mm²;
— overall dimensions — 100x50x50 mm, weight up to 100 g. Degree of mechanical protection — IP20;
— the module body is made of non-combustible plastic and provides for installation on a DIN-rail.
